William H. Skeeles

Principal, CEO and President

William H. Skeeles is a Principal, CEO, and President of PointeNorth Insurance Group. He leads and sets the organization’s strategic course and guides efforts to grow and support the Independent Agency system through mergers and acquisitions. Bill is also a dedicated insurance agent to his clients, advising them on how to protect their businesses and assets. His background in claims, contracts and risk advisement positions him to earn the confidence and trust of those he serves.

As a native Ohioan, Bill attended the University of Akron and earned a B.S. in Economics. After relocating to Atlanta in the late 1970’s, Bill received his Jurist Doctorate from The Woodrow Wilson School of Law and became an Independent Agent and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He purchased his first agency, The Rohrabaugh Company, in 1996, renamed it TRC Insurance Services and created North Point Group Inc. to facilitate continued acquisitions. In 2010, TRC Insurance Services was rebranded to PointeNorth Insurance Group and realigned its capital source in late 2012, poised to accelerate acquisition activity with a focus on Georgia and Alabama. Bill has served in the leadership of and remains active in a number of civic and industry related organizations, including the Atlanta Jaycees’ and Kiwanis Club, Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia, the Big I, Cobb County Chamber’s Chairmen Club, The University of Akron Foundation Board  of Trustees and the PIA. He is a long standing member of SecureRisk and serves on a number of Insurance Carrier Advisory councils.

Mary E. Skeeles

Principal, EVP and COO

Mary E. Skeeles is a Principal, EVP and COO at PointeNorth Insurance Group, focused on operations, transition and culture management. Prior to joining the firm, Mary served in a number of operational leadership roles for several Fortune 200 companies and new ventures, bringing Leading Practice and Process Management and organizational efficiency to varying-sized, multiple-location service organizations. Her experience in managing rapidly-evolving organizations positions PointeNorth well as the firm executes its growth initiatives.

Mary is from the Midwest, attended Indiana University and the University of Evansville and has resided in Atlanta for over 30 years.

Pamela M. Gibson

Principal, CFO

Pamela M. Gibson joined the organization in early 2014 and is a Principal and CFO at PointeNorth Insurance Group. Her strategic development and financial audit and reporting experience in public accounting and with startups, nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies provides critical support to PointeNorth’s growth initiatives.

From earlier work in growth and acquisition support at The Home Depot, to more recent roles which included the national accreditation of Cobb & Douglas Public Health, Pam’s experience in strategy and alignment of organizational objectives has further augmented PointeNorth’s history of acquisition and merger successes.

Pam grew up in Tennessee, studied Accounting at Lee University and is a licensed CPA. She is active in a number of nonprofits and civic organizations, and is the previous Board Chair of the Cobb Health Futures Foundation. Pam is married to Todd Gibson and is the mother of two sons, Alex and Colin Riley.

Matthew G. Wells

Principal, Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development

Matthew G. Wells is a Principal and Vice President of Business Development at PointeNorth Insurance Group. Matt re-joined the firm in 2012 with a focus on sales and marketing and producer development. He is also a dedicated independent insurance agent who serves as a trusted advisor to his clients regarding their businesses and personal assets.

Matt began his career at TRC Insurance Services in 2003, and returned after spending time as a Commercial Lines Producer and executive at another local Atlanta-based insurance agency. He is excited about the opportunities PointeNorth’s growth initiatives create and feels PNIG offers a great option for those committed to the Independent Agency system and looking for professional development or perpetuation solutions.

Matt is a native of Atlanta, a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration.

Katherine H. Skeeles

Principal, Chief of Staff and Vice President of Operations

Katherine Skeeles is a Principal at PointeNorth Insurance Group and acting Chief of Staff and Vice President of Operations. Katherine joined the agency in 2017 after spending several years as a Commercial Lines Underwriter for a national property & casualty insurance carrier. Her focus at PointeNorth is on line of business operations as well as merger and acquisition transition.

Kathrine is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College with a BS in Business Administration and Economics. Katherine holds P&C and Surplus Lines licenses in multiple states and is currently pursuing her CIC designation.
