PointeNorth Walks for Charity, Fitness and Fun

Young women walking across a bridge

On June 1st PointeNorth headed to the beach! Encouraged by our group health provider, we distributed pedometers, laced up comfortable shoes and started moving. For the next 90 days, participating associates will assemble into teams, count their steps and monitor their progress. Team mileage will be tracked on a map to our favorite beach and the team that logs in the most steps will win a donation to their favorite charity.

Activity is important to the physical and mental well being of all associates and wellness programs are being adopted by many business owners to support their greatest asset, their employees. These programs don’t have to be overly complicated or expensive and with collaboration can be great fun. In addition to walking for charity, PointeNorth also supports a Weight Watchers group that meets weekly.

Join us in “Walking to the Beach” this summer….and when we’re done, we may just have to walk back!
